Breast augmentation is one of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures, where the volume and shape of the breasts are enhanced by the insertion of implants. The most widely used prosthetic implants in our practice are made from textured silicone and ‘the auxiliary technique’ is the most popular approach, since the mammary gland is not affected and no scars are visible after surgery.
